Getting the image to convey a meaning or message!

This was a random thought going through my mind while I took my morning walk.  It is a blustery Autumn day, so how can I portray this?  I saw the play park empty and abandoned, sunshine filtering through the trees, however the leaves have not yet turned.  So maybe I should try this shot at a later date!  However it seemed to have an autumn look, with some leaves on the ground.  So did I achieve my objective?
