"Every dog has its day"

And this one was as "Happy as Larry" bounding along on a near deserted beach this morning with the tide far out.  Not many were out and about given it was blowing a gale, but thankfully it's been dry and quite mild. 

Thinking of other sayings for the Wide Wednesday challenge it occured to me that the dog was also "Between a rock and a hard place" literally, but figuratively I couldn't make that work! He was really quite delighted to be there.
