Whitelee Windfarm

The remnants of Hurricane Lee has crossed the Atlantic from the Americas, and although it has not hurricane power, it is a mighty wind we woke to this morning.  And heavy rain overnight.

Bob went off to the gym and then to table tennis, while I spent some time cooking and ironing.  (Why do I get all the good jobs?).

In the afternoon we were not inclined to walk in the wind, so we took a wee trip out to Whitelee Windfarm above the village of Eaglesham.  All the turbines were turning and it was quite a sight, but hard to get a good photograph.

They have a very good interpretive exhibition at the Visitor Centre, well used by groups, especially schools, and we had a wander around and tried some of the interactive displays.  I made up a collage of some of it.

They also have a rather good coffee shop!
