Change of Season

Wanted to take some photos of the water lily pads in our pond before they are compromised by the cooler temps of Fall and Winter. Botanical life in the yard is seriously beginning to wind down. Some plants continue to bloom, though without the urgency of Spring and Summer. The bees are still numerous and active but the butterflies are beginning to decline in numbers. The hummers are still here and visiting our feeder with greater regularity and purpose, it seems. Both nights and days are cooler, thank goodness. Time marches on.
