Turning into Gran

I know, I know. So I usually have Layla (a pleasure) a couple of days a week. Currently she is in season. And I have a new sofa......... I also have copious numbers of washable throws which Penny and I throw over the sofa and armchairs on her arrival. For unknown reasons "Easylife" send me their catalogue on an almost weekly basis. And on the most recent, on the front cover were these sofa and armchair protectors. An essential purchase I felt. As I said, i realise with horror that I am turning into my mother! Its a worry!

(and quite separately, it was Grans birthday yesterday. She would have been 101).
