Izzy

Izzy is on RnR from her job in Kyiv. At the weekend, she and Hannah flew to Greece for the wedding of one of Izzy's friends, and they came back today. I met them in the Old Fire Station, along with Charlie who arrived a bit later on.

Izzy bought me this t-shirt, which is done in the style of the train station arrivals and departure board at the station in Kyiv. (Ukrzaliznytsia translates as Ukranian Railways.)

Izzy thinks that the three destinations shown with arrival times are places that have been recaptured from the Russians. (A quick Google showed two definitely are, one was unclear.)

It would be a great gift for me at any time, but even better as I'm off to see a performance of Steve Reich's 'Different Trains' at RNCM, tomorrow.

Anyway, we had a lovely evening. So good to have Izzy back!
