End of an unusual day

We rarely go very far from home for any kind of shopping but today went to the large M&S at Handforth Dean (first time this century). I bought a waxed coat for the new season :-) Not quite a Barbour but it will do me.

Then we went to a Waitrose supermarket at Cheadle Hulme a new experience as we normally get them to come to us. We spent quite a lot more than when we get a delivery but it will probably be next year before we go again (if ever),

Also the skip used by the roofers was collected but not before we managed to fill it with all sorts of junk from the garage some of it, stored in the roof space was wrapped in newspaper dated August 1982 . 40 years before it was ever looked at again!!!!
