Bees of a different kind

Beehives everywhere today at the "HonFest" in Baltimore, Maryland (if you want to feel as though you belong, pronounce the town's name as "Bawlmer") :)

HonFest is a local tradition. The Bawlmer term of endearment, Hon, short for Honey, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon neighbors and visitors alike by historic working-women of Baltimore. HonFest is an annual celebration in honor of these women.

This was so much fun and the neighborhood so full of character that I (almost) want to move there. We'll have to consider that option :)

What a weekend full of great events, so very different from one another that I felt I was traveling different planets each time. Wish I could feature them all here... Love it!
