Nobel Prize
Cotswolds cottage fun continued today after a very funny drunken evening (once all the babies were in bed, tucked up in their bathrooms and en suites!) I managed to get very giddy and drunk from two glasses of champagne much to the amusement of everyone else. We played games and chatted until late (too late considering our early starts!)
A lazy morning of fry ups and papers was followed by a quick drive into the infamous Chipping Norton for a change of scene.
My friend Suzy has a baby the same age as Audrey (the beautiful Delilah, see pic with her Dad outside the cottage) and she has been helping me with Audrey's independent eating issue (and aversion to fruit and veg). Today we had a breakthrough. Audrey ate raisins and had a corn on the cob for tea. I was delirious. It was akin to her winning a Nobel Prize for how it made me feel. She can do it, I just need to keep persevering. And we have two new meal options. Result!
The sun finally came out this afternoon (think we have been the only part of the country missing out!)
The afternoon mainly consisted of hanging out in the garden, chatting and playing with the kids.
This weekend has been total bliss. Friends, babies, wine and music. Wish it never had to end.
