A Strange Play at This Age

Keeping in mind that this is 7th grade football, the PAT (point after touchdown) is an odd play. Probably for a variety of reasons, they don't let the defense rush the holder and kicker. The offensive line players lay down so they don't deflect the ball, and the defensive line jumps up...trying to deflect the kick. Like I said...strange.

Their jumping tactics did not work. The other team scored 3 touchdowns, and the kicker booted 3 PAT's. 

Doing the math...
3 touchdowns...18 points.
3 point after kicks...6 points.
Total...22 points.
