Aberdour castle

Wednesday 
We visited Aberdour castle in the morning. It rained heavily on the drive over to Fife, but cleared up by the time we got there and was nice and sunny for our visit. The gardens around the castle are looking beautiful. Afterwards we had a picnic lunch and a walk down to the beach and back past the harbour. There is now a new bridge over the river, so no more waiting for low tide to cross to the coastal path.
