Every day, exquisite images of birds are posted on blipfoto - and this is not one of them. But I couldn't pass on my quick take of a fairy wren begging crumbs from our table at the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens cafe. We were at the Gardens to check out their suitability for my birthday party this weekend, when the bairns and grandbairns will be coming down from Canberra (hopefully bearing gifts). Son and daughter will have their gee-whiz cameras with them, and no doubt will show me what bird pictures should look like.
