A very grey day

Today I had to bring the electric wheelchair to the workplace for another adjustment on the seat. E still has pain sitting in it, so a whole new seat is made. It’s not sure this will do the trick, but let’s hope it does. Today and tomorrow are days on bed for E, because there’s nothing else he can sit in while the wheelchair is at the workplace.

Normally the wheelchair would be picked up at home, and brought back, but the transportation would cost 4 (!!!!) days extra when they do this. So I went to the other side of the country myself today, and tomorrow we will get a phone call when to come pick the chair up again. It saves so much extra time on bed for E.

Today was a bad day on the road with all the rain: many accidents and lots of traffic jams. But I managed to have only 50 minutes delay…and that wasn’t bad for today.

Let’s hope tomorrow the wheelchair is finished early and that things work out the right way. E is so finished with this situation…Fingers crossed!
