Arco

After yesterdays long drive is was great to wake to a view down to Lake Garda.
We drove down to park just outside Arco at the north end of the Lake and hopped on our bikes. the cycle path was busy with all sorts of bikes - and lots with batteries cruising along. MrKT kept telling me how much they all cost - maybe one day we will invest. But till then, it was leg power down to Arco.
We’ve been here a few times so nice to revisit and then back on the bikes down to Riva del Garda, a lunch and ice cream stop before heading back to the van. Very busy round here compared to round Aosta valley that we’ve just left. We found a few camp sites were full and eventually decided to ‘camp free’ and booked into a site for tomorrow.
We ended up at Lago do Cavendine, called at a bar for a drink and had a swim in the (chilly) lake. The bar owner kindly let us park up for the night there so we had a very peaceful time. Lucky.
