Deep water

I walked over to Isthmus Bay at Derwentwater today - and the water levels were deep! The normal path from Crow Park was under a couple of feet of water, the only access was from the Rugby Club.

Set up my tripod, added a grad, and went in the pocket for my big stopper only to realise I'd left it in one of my other bags (not confessing as to how many I have).

So This was shot as a 10-shot multi exposure to smooth the water and get some movement and dynamism. Just as I was shooting it, the next bank of rain arrived - it poured on me - and the camera, but I managed to keep rain off the lens.
