Nordic fox

I didn't take any photos today so I just took a quick snap of my current cross stitch.  It will be a Christmas card for my mum and dad when finished. 

I walked the girls to school, came home and worked until lunch time, then I had my first radiotherapy session today.  It was fine and not unpleasant.  Its a bit like having a scan. The session itself was quick, about 15/20 minutes to get set up, measured etc, then it felt like the treatment lasted just a matter of minutes.  I had to hold my breath a number of times for about 30 seconds.  I'm not great at that but managed it, I'll probably get good at it by the end of this though! 

 I think I will find it tiring as I have to drive 30 minutes to the hospital and leave plenty of time for parking so it's going to be about a 2/2.5 hour excursion each day for 15 days but its definitely easier than chemo.
