One's birthday!

It's finally here - I am now officially *mumbles something under her breath*

It was a strange day. I really missed my Dad. I always miss him, but today I particularly missed him. Opening the card and seeing it saying 'love from Mum' was pretty heartbreaking. There was no phone call where Dad said 'Happy Birthday, got to go, the cricket is on'.

My family made me feel very special, and my lovely husband booked us lunch at Brown's in Kingston where we had champers and lobster! Lucky me! The restaurant was down by the river, and the swans popped by to wish me happy returns.

Another year gone, but this year is going to be a good one, I can feel it in my bones ...
