Dandelion
Name derived from the French - Lions Tooth
Other names - wet-the-bed, pissy-beds,
dandelion clock or blowballs
Considered a weed due to its prolific growth but has valuable culinary and medical uses... good for blood purification, a diuretic, wine and coffee substitute (if you are that way inclined!) and great in salads.
