I was hoping to drive towards a hill today but the weather forecast was poor and then I realised it was World Car Free Day so Shanks' Pony for Cali and I today.

Most people have cars and many need them, even when we cycle and walk. I'm no exception and the best we can do is try and use them more efficiently; a bit less and not for short walkable journeys. Maybe the trick is to use it as a tool but not be wedded to it.

Interesting watching all the furore over ULEZs and 20mph in Wales both of which I agree with. Needs to be a way of helping those who live in ULEZs, especially for those in low incomes but they are the people suffering from bad air. Keep vandalising the signs, you'll breathe more easily. At 20mph you'll hurt someone if you hit them but hopefully much less likely to kill them and injuries should be less. Hope it comes to Scotland next. 

Everyone wants to save the world but not change any habits. It's not anti car to use them efficiently.

Apparently tomorrow is World Don't Preach At Your Friends Day lol
