Nursery

It's been a busy day, we're off for a short trip to the highlands tomorrow so after my stinit at the food bank I've been cleaning  the house so we don't have it to do when we get back.  Emergency blip of the spider plant nursery on our kitchen window.

The cactus in the middle was bought as a birthday present by friend F many years ago. There's a ring around the middle which is spineless, this is due to it originally having a small paper flower on top.  As the cactus grew, the spines on the top got stuck to the paper flower and so didn't devleop properly.  The flower is still there (you can just see it sticking out) but I do sort of like how it's a marker of how much it has grown,
