Mast View

Late morning we drove up to the mast at the top of Exogi Mountain, Ithaca (Ionian Islands, Greece) as the views are amazing. Driving a car up there isn't for the feint of heart as for long stretches there's a shear drop!

At the top, besides the Monastery is a mast. The view I've taken is looking back over Exogi and Afales Bay across the Ionian sea to Lefkada and mainland Greece.

After cold drinks in the ET Bar, Exogi, we booked for a meal there tonight as it's all home cooked food with mum and son (Ioannis) who own and run it.

After driving up another mounatin to Anogi to its cafe/shop. I posted a photograph I had printed of Lefteris and wife Daniella here who run it. It's closed early this year and I have a feeling Daniella isn't well.

We enjoyed a couple of hours at Dexa beach (nr Vathy) before heading back to go out for our evening meal. Another day gone so quick!
