The Wolf’s Castle…

from the far bank of the loch on a fine morning. It’s nine miles all the way round the loch, but I didn’t do it today. The whole time I was walking skeins of geese were arriving from the north and arrow ing across, heading for Loch Insh. Good to hear and see them . Around the loch were Stonechats. They seem to hang around for quite a long time. This morning the two Woodpeckers accompanied my first coffee in the garden. One feeds on the feeder and the other stays in the trees.
