… mini Blipmeet searching for what’s left of the edge of the Trient Glacier! In 1978 the extra photo was taken from almost the same viewpoint. I remember climbing up onto that glacier snout deciding it was much too dangerous to take kids there when I was a young teacher. How things have changed, the valley has become so overgrown with bushes that you can’t easily get up to that point now. Well we couldn’t find a path through. We need a mini ice age now to save the glaciers from our excesses and our governments are not taking the effects of global warming seriously.
