Only a rose

I noticed the bud in the garden so put it a vase.
61 years ago today I galloped walked sedately up the Church Aisle carrying a bouquet of about 12 coral pink tea roses.
I couldn't even have a g&t with all the tablets I'm on.
Oh woe is me.!!
