Juvenile Cormorant

Juvenile Cormorant doing a balancing act on a branch today. He really did look like he was struggling to stay on. There were five of them just in front of the bird hide at Les Grangettes this afternoon. I haven’t seen them this close to the hide before. The extra is a juvenile Herring Gull but I think he might have damaged wing had it hanging down to the side and didn’t seem to want to fly.

Spent the morning in work then went shopping in the valley.
