Admiring the cloud

Decided we'd go to Dorchester (by train). Got caught in a burst of rain as we arrived - stupidly hadn't taken a rain jacket. So rushed into my favourite clothing shop, which I'd planned to visit anyway. Unfortunately, limited stock as they'd just held a sale of their summer stock, and were putting out the Winter merchandise. May return in a couple of weeks.

Had a good flat white nearby. Then walked around the High Street, before taking a bus for a 5mn ride to Poundbury ("Poundbury is an urban extension to the Dorset county town of Dorchester, designed in accordance with the principles of architecture and urban planning as advocated by His Majesty, King Charles III, in his book ‘A Vision of Britain' " https://poundbury.co.uk/)

Found ourselves in residential streets, new to us, and had a look round. The local pub no longer does our favourite beer, so returned and had a glass at Weatherspoons in town before the train back.

Noticeably cooler. Just put my (lightweight) winter dressing gown on.

Blip is of the green / cricket pitch at the entrance to Poundbury.
