Baby bird

We were walking back from Moortown along Harrogate Road when a fledgling appeared on the road. It didn't fly away when cars approached. I think a couple of drivers saw it so either slowed or swerved to avoid. When the road was clear I walked behind the bird shooing it onto the pavement. I thought it might be a baby Jay or Magpie but it is just a silly Wood Pigeon. I hope it stays safe now.

In other news I returned to swimming and also walked 5km today, I had needed a couple of lazy days at home in order to recover from being away for a week!
