Hotel…

…at the fort next to the Sonoma Mission. We went there with Marc and Teri but wound up at The Girl and the Fig for lunch. This is a favorite spot for us, but since Covid we, like many others have lost our taste for going out to eat. Marc snd Teri said they feel the same way, but together we enjoyed our meal there enormously. It has never disappointed.

Perhaps after all the months of isolation with only each other for company, couples find the prospect of dining alone in a restaurant a bit daunting. I’m still trying to figure out why so many people are finding it difficult to simply resume their pre-Covid lives. But we are also hearing that there is a resurgence of Covid and mask mandates in medical facilities are resuming. I wonder how many people would be willing to go back into lockdown in the unlikely event that it was reimposed? People don’t even seem to be swarming to get the latest vaccine.

We’re enjoying a lull and a rest and making room before we go out to dinner at Sea Thai Bistro. To eat again…
