A Quiet Moment...

Opened in 1879, Southern Cemetery is the largest municipal cemetery in the UK and the second largest in Europe. Lovely gardens, pathways, grade 2 listed buildings and chapels can be found here off Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton, Manchester. This cemetery is the final resting place for my Mum and my Grandparents. It was Mum and Gran's birthday last week so I visited and noted that things were looking a bit tired. I went back today and did some 'gardening' and planted some new plants. All is good again :-)
