SIGNS OF AUTUMN

Meteorologically speaking, Fall (the Atumnal Equinox) doesn't arrive in Wisconsin until 01:50Hrs. tomorrow some 6 hours and 30 minutes from now.

Apparently, no one mentioned that to the local Sugar Maples (Acer saccharum) as there are already signs of "the change."  I think much of the early color changes can be attributed to drought related stress.  In any case, in 2 to 3 weeks the entire area will be a riot of colors and I will be exercising my Nikon Z9 and my warming polarizer.  Should be a very good year for forest colors in Wisconsin...if the nice weather continues and we don't get wet and wind in abundance.
