Powell Butte

After a stop for breakfast that was a vegan restaurant ,unbeknownst to Big R but he chose it (he’s not a big fan), we went to take a walk at Powell Butte Nature Park . See below . I was missing Mountain View’s that I saw so often in Seattle. I love both the mountains and the waters , but mountains are my favorite. I first fell in love wit them on a Methodist deaconess trip my mom sent me on in junior high . We sent to the Appalachian mountains on a bus and it changed my life. More on that later other than to say I have always wanted to live by mountains ever since them .
