Shady corner

Spring is in full flight here in Adelaide.  The wisteria is out, and so are the clivias.  It's a beautiful place to be on a day like today.

The gnarly thingy in the background is the remnants of a cork oak - one of the first to be planted in the Park, and burnt down in a bush fire.  There are still a couple of cork oaks in the park; but of course we don't plant exotic trees these days.
