Tiny toadstools .....

..... ..... ..... the first I've seen this Spring.

I visited a couple in Arrowtown this morning that I've known for a number of years. The wife lived with us when she first came to Queenstown and my husband married them. E's elderly mother died last week, a sad happening but a merciful release. Without knowing, I took a pretty pink and white potted hydrangea as a gift, and apparently it was her mother's favourite flower. How lovely. We had a happy & sad time together, but special at the same time.
