Home from home

I was in a Glasgow factory today that offers work to the blind and partially sighted. They produce fantastic furniture; beds; office furniture and soft furnishings and they sell to businesses and the general public.

This is the kennels where the staff leave their guide dogs during the day. To the front of the building there's separate kennels and runs and the far right and left shows a massive exercise yard for the dogs.

It was weird as I was trying to attracted the attention of a dog in the yard who was standing at the fence. No matter what Idid he simply ignored me - guess they are trained that way.

As you walk around the factory grounds you are required to strictly follow the red barrier roads (shown in this blip) and if you deviate from the recognised path the folk that run things are not best pleased.

A very cool place.
