Walking around town this morning..

... I noticed how many men were standing around, or even sitting on benches, each with one or more dogs on leads.

My theory is that many of these gents volunteer to accompany their partner to town to help with the Saturday shopping. But they also suggest the pooch comes along as well. 

Another example in my extra, where the man might well be asleep..

Of course someone has to miss out on the 'joys' of shopping whilst they mind the family pet.
