Gardens project.

We did some digging and removed a lot of stones and old bulbs before planting the azalea (the one to the right). It's where the old dwarf lilac was that we dug out. Terry did the worst of the work ie the roots! The large stones are temporary till we plant something else and will hopefully deter the local cats from using the flowerbed as a toilet.
This is the narrow garden that runs along the edge of our drive. It's changed a number of times over the years. Trying to make our gardens easier to manage as I find it increasingly difficult to kneel and to do the weeding. As we are on a corner plot in a house built in 1928, the gardens are extensive when compared to newer houses. We'll get there. Looking forward to continuing this project.
