The Joker

Hilary had a stroll round the Stevenage Charter Fair tonight. They have been coming to the Old Town since 1281 when the charter was granted by King John for there to be a fair and a market every year on the 22nd and 23rd of September.
We haven’t lived here all that time, but we try and go most years if it’s not raining. I like to take long exposure photos of the rides. Hilary likes people watching. Most of the big rides are a fiver now and £3 for children’s rides.
Every year we feel older and older.
