North West

Woke early and got my stuff packed quickly so we could get on the road. Stopped for coffee in Callander and had a pootle around the shops before driving up through Glencoe. The sun came out as we went through the spectacular scenery and we stopped a couple of times to admire the stunning views. Given the weather forecast it may be the last decent weather we see so we wanted to make the most of it!
Stopped at Lochleven seafood restaurant (whole crab, mussels and roasted langoustines that we shared between us)….delicious!
Back to the car for the drive across to Skye and after getting milk and butter at the co-op we travelled on to our cottage at Colbost. Unpacked the car and had a much needed cup of tea then unpacked, explored the cottage (lovely!) and slumped a bit to watch Strictly then rugby, whilst browsing the guide books. I think we’re going to have a relaxing time here!
