Mòd

Today Rowan was competing with her pals at Sgoil an Iochdair and folks across Uibhist in Mòd Bharraigh is Bhatarsaigh. This is a regional Gaelic language and singing competition and the first one since Covid-19.

They were all fantastic! Rowan has been practicing for the past few weeks and came 3rd in the Bàrdachd (poetry recital) and 1st in the Oràn (Gàidhlig singing)! She’s well chuffed with her wee badges and keen to compete again.

We also stayed overnight in Barra in the campervan and survived.
