Midnight Blue

The success of the EDAP (Extreme Dress Alterations Project) I am currently working on hinged 100% on me being able to dye a piece of fabric exactly the same shade as that of the existing dress. Not bluer, not more purple, exactly right. Had the dress been constructed of a fabric that wasn't so insanely iridescent, the task of matching it would have fallen in the pffft-I-can-dye-that-color-with-my-eyes-closed category.

As it were, I lucked out with minimal effort and the project can be completed.

I'll just sweep up the piles of hair I pulled out of my head now.
