Free range

On a walk around Staveley Nature Reserve this morning we came across this fine cock and a brood of hens wandering freely around a field. He was a short distance away, but more than happy to stay still while I blipped him.
There were many noisy geese (as usual) on the water which I have blipped before. I did try to get some shots of them flying overhead with limited success - see the extras.
