Alp Languard

Full sunshine and blue sky is back, albeit the temperatures are still chilly with -2° at night and max 13° during the day with a strong wind.

Inspired by Munni, we realized we had not yet walked up to Alp Languard this year. So after a restful sleeping in, after midday we walked from Pontresina up to Alp Languard. The “Röntgen” path, named after the famous scientist who used to spend his summer holidays here, is a wonderful trail through the forest 500m altitude up to Alp Languard.

We shared half of the giant “Cremeschnitten” with coffee. It was a good training for the autumn season.

We enjoyed the first local game from the current hunting season today with a Morellino di Scansano Riserva 2019 we brought with us from Italy.
