BEACH LIFE

I took a bag of books over to the Museum on the Headland for their used book stall, and had a quick walk along the prom which is always rewarding. I spotted this curlew quietly fossicking in the rock pools among the oystercatchers, and a ringed plover (extra) scurrying along the beach. There was a seal swimming past, looking as though it was heading for the port where the fishing boats go, and a razorbill investigating the seaweed below the pier (2nd extra).

Back to the book sorting.
