Crashing Waves

Teignmouth was quite busy this afternoon. Late holidaymakers? Locals enjoying the fresh air? Or was it old duffers like me getting their flu jabs? Maybe.

Whilst in town we took a walk down the front where 3 hours past high tide waves were still splashing over the prom. I wanted the view from the slipway and my viewpoint was a bit lower down. I took a few shots with an extended exposure and went back up. I narrowly escaped a soaking because just as I got up to the prom a wave crashed and splashed over just where I'd been.
