It's turning very autumnal
Today has been incredibly windy, though having said that it was actually quite a warm wind because when I went on my two morning walks, Ann had to undo her coat.
Ann and her friend Iain (who is staying with us at the moment) had booked to go to 'Trevaskis Farm' for lunch at 2.15pm, so I got two long walks in the morning because Ann thought that it might be raining by the time she'd finished lunch. She was correct.
I went to the beach first thing and had a lovely time running around with a little spaniel and a Labrador. They were ever so friendly but we were all being so super speedy that Ann didn't manage to get a good photo of us.
At about 11.30pm I went out for another long walk. This is a picture of me jumping over a stone stile. You can see what a horrible dull day it was from the view in the background. Normally you get a lovely view of the town from this stile. But not today.
I stayed 'home alone' while Ann and Iain went out for lunch. They both had roast beef and it was massive. Neither of them could eat it all so they brought home a little doggie bag for me. OMG! It was yummy. I had beef and three different kinds of veg and I wolfed it down.
I also got to go into the field for a play with my ball, but it started to pour with rain so I had to cut my play short.
Now it's 7.30pm, it's pitch dark, it's still raining and it's still incredibly windy. We have all the lights on and although it's not cold, it feels like it's the middle of winter. Not going out again until it's time for my bedtime wee.
On a positive note...................... our weather app is full of little sunshine symbols for tomorrow. Yay!
