Day trip to London

An absolutely lovely day trip to London, although I am now exhausted!

It was an early start, leaving at 8am to drive to my cousins in Surrey. From there we got the train to Victoria and met my other cousin’s wife and daughter who live in Australia. We shopped, my daughter found a coat she liked and then we went for afternoon tea at the Chesterfield in Mayfair.

It was absolutely lovely and rather indulgent!

It was lovely for us to be altogether, it’s been years since I’ve seen the Australian crew. Train back to my cousins then a long drive home.

Whilst it was exhausting, it really was worth it. My photo is of some of the sights today and picture of the 5 of us together…
