Shine Dome

A celebration dinner tonight - to celebrate interview over and real start to the school holidays. Bicicletta is one of our favorite Accor rewards haunts, and suitable now the GF trial is over! Im enjoyed one of their excellent pizzas, M continued his pursuit of the perfect crab pasta, L enjoyed a bolognaise, and I had a delicious barramundi.

As is traditional, we parked at the nearby Shine Science Dome, one of the architectural icons of Canberra. By day, it’s new copper roof is splendiferous (it had been badly damaged in a severe hailstorm). As a purple lover, i’d have to say it’s night-time illumination is pretty special too.
