Wooly Bear's Prediction

Lots and lots of Wooly Bear caterpillars about now.  The width of the brown area will predict the type of winter we will have according to folklore. (Chart in the extras) WB says we will begin mild, proceed to a moderate amount of snow and cold and then end "harshly".  Great!  Something to look forward to!  Off this afternoon to buy a new car.  Mine died on Saturday, again, and I had to get a ride to Stephanie's funeral.  Over 300 people attended which was a tribute to how much she was loved my everyone.   Gift#266: kind neighbors.
