So much for treated timber

I know, I know, no timber treatment can get to the centre of a big sleeper! I honestly don't mind it. What I do mind is where the fungus is expanding into the soil along the sleeper wall and killing off the roots of my plants.

Anyhow, H was still coughing away this morning, a lot, so D took her to the doctor. It's a virus so we just have to treat the symptoms and wait it out. The only treatment she likes is sucking ice cubes. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, although though there will be no school as we now have three days of strikes!
