Alternative sewing

After a rather stormy weekend, the weather improved markedly today.  T came again, and the hole for the pond is now pretty much dug out.  We need to buy sand, and are also going to treat ourselves to a trip to various garden centres to get extra plants.  Look forward to having that area planted up in the next month.

With the longer, darker evenings, we have taken to sitting in the lounge and watching some TV.  Still working our way through Detectorists.  

I've picked up my cross stitching again, as I can do this whilst watching telly.  I still have a box full of small kits that were freebies on the front of the many magazines I bought over the years.
